In the game
the player moulds and guides a species across many generations, growing
it from a single-celled organism (see top image) into a more complex
animal (see bottom image), until the species becomes intelligent.
At this point the player begins moulding and guiding this species'
society, progressing towards a spacefaring civilization.
In multi-player mode, players can visit other civilisations and interact
with them in either a peaceful of aggressive way. |
